36 year old female with typically symptoms of pelvic congestion syndrome. Primary complaints of pelvic heaviness, painful intercourse, and urinary frequency. Transvaginal ultrasound demonstrated left ovarian vein embolization with extensive pelvic varicosities. Of note, large varicose veins were found around the base of the bladder. Treatment with foam sclerotherapy and coil embolization resulted in marked improvement in symptoms.
